great cheap case!

I think I'll wait a week or two after I get the N7 to see reviews on these cases regarding fit/quality etc..

Same here.

I ordered a screen protector from Amazon, and I will just be careful with it until we get the scoop on the *official* Asus cases that are mysteriously still unavailable.

If they have the magnet flap and the ability to stand up my tablet it would be insta-buy.

Be careful with this type of case. It looks very much like the case for HP touchpad I had, the thick border might block some of the sensors such as light sensor.

I have a bluerex for my transformer. It looks like it's the exact same form factor. The case is alright, good fight and all. I'd say it's a good value case.

i'm buying mine mainly for a stand so i can use my tablet as an alarm clock (don't judge me)

Has anyone seen an "Otterbox Defender" type case for the N7??? Something strong and durable.

I think it would be a good idea in case of the unexpected...

I hope to have my Nexus 7 tomorrow (Office Depot should be shipping N7 orders today). I also ordered the AmazonBasics Leather Folio, which while designed for the Kindle Fire (and Samsung GalaxyTab 7), should be able to accommodate most 7" tablets. I hope it's a perfect fit. I figured for $15 it's not a bad deal until something better/official comes along.

Amazon.com: AmazonBasics Leather Folio Cover with Multi-Angle Adjustable Stand for Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 (Black): Electronics

I ordered a Case Logic LNEO-7 7-Inch Tablet/eBook Sleeve from Amazon to use until Otterbox makes a defender case for the Nexus 7. They make one for the Kendle Fire now so it won't be a long wait.

$5 neoprene sleeve from Five Below, since I don't anticipate wanting to hold it while it's in a case, but want it to be protected when I throw it in my laptop bag.
