Green boxes moto6

[Android Central Question]

I've seen the answers to the problem with green boxes on the screen. However, I can't access the settings to check the accessibility problems that have been mentioned in other posts. I'm fact, apart from highlighting everything in a green box , I can't seem to do anything - no swipe down, restart, power off etc. I couldn't even answer my phone when it rang! Any help gratefully received. TIA
