Green lines when using camera

All of a sudden, out of nowhere when I try to take a pic or vid the focus screen is filled with green lines. They show up in the finished shot as well. Anyone else seen this or know of a fix ?

This has happened to me in both the camera and video camera. I just did a restart and it fixed the issue. Not sure why it happens, but hasn't happened in almost a week now. Hope it doesn't get worse and an update fixes it down the road.
