Oh my god my replacement device is doing the same green screen from my OP. How is the camera on the OnePlus 6T these days?

Wow, you sure it's not something else?
1+6 camera is good and can take pretty good pictures but not all the time. Its hard to beat the pixel camera or be as consistent.

I think it's some sort of hardware issue, it even occurs during the boot screen so there's not really any settings I can change to make a difference. The support person suggested system and app updates but everything is on the latest version.

I know it's hard to beat the Pixel with pictures, but when there seems to be a quality issue (a coworker has had to replace his as well) then it's hard to want to continue with the device.

I can understand your frustration
Maybe ask to swap for 3xl ?

I had the same thing happen to mine... luckily it was in the 14 day return/ exchange window. at first Verizon was stingy about the exchange but once he saw the screen they did exchange the device and I have had no issues since.

I considered that, but my coworker has problems with his 3XL dropping all networks (wifi, Bluetooth, mobile) and tech support determined it is somehow related to his Google account. I really don't have a lot of confidence in either device at this point.

I went as far as factory resetting it a few times and still had the same issue. I don't know why Google won't just say there's an issue with the panel from LG... but it's also all over Reddit too

I was surprised I dont have a issue with my pix 2xl panel , glad when i heard the news pix 3xl would get Samsung.

While the 2XL is an LG panel it's not the same as a 3 panel. Also we have not heard it confirmed that it is a panel issue. It could be other hardware.

Well given LG track history
Beginning when pix3 came out heard problems ,Huawei mate pro problems, pix 2 xl
They dont make quality screens.

My point is I don't recall this specific problem on the 2XL

No , but had different issues
Now on Huawei mate pro with lg screen has had this green screen problem.
My point is it could very well be the display on the 3 from lg
I was just saying I was surprised my 2xl which lg made the panel didn't have issues.

I've been getting a white flash when waking my ambiant display. It's becoming more frequent.

I have the regular 3. My 2XL was fine. Also finding the battery drain overnight is pretty bad too.

I'm wondering if it's an LG screen problem. If you purchased from Google I would definitely contact them

That was happening to me and I have ambient display disabled. Both of my previous P3s did it as does this replacement. I'm sure it's a matter of time before I discuss lemon laws with Google.

I thought you had the green screen not the white flash.
