Grey data icons

Hey everyone, just wondering why both my wifi and data icons are grey, yet I can still browse the internet. Ran a speed test and still pulling 5mbps download, nothing seems degraded. So what's going on?

Grey means you aren't connected to Google's servers. Internet, speed, etc work just fine.. but you won't get gmail pushed, can't use gtalk, etc.. Could be on Google's end, could be the wifi network your on if you are on a public network. Usually fixes itself shortly. If it persists and you know its not the network just try rebooting.

Try turning on airplane mode and then turning it off. Or unsyncing in settings and resyncing.

Not sure, but I don't think so. I think it's more on Google's end than ours TBH.
