Grills have been pushed in

Hey does anyone have a technique to "pull" the speaker grill out flush again? The 2 grills on my Pixel XL2 have been pushed in, when I was cleaning them I assume.

Wait .. what? The speaker grills should be pushed in. They shouldn't be above the cut outs.

yes I know that. The bottom part of both grills are pushed in further.

I was just wondering if anyone had a useful method of straightening them out.

Probably no way unless you take apart the phone.

I would be taking it into a repair shop / talking with someone who knows what they're doing before just pulling on speakers. It shouldn't from cleaning it. I have cleaned mine a bunch without the issue. Are you pushing super hard when doing it?

No i never pushed on them super hard.

I will take my phone apart and re position the two grills. (Or install new ones)

FYI if you take the phone apart you foul up the liquid and dust protection.
