So it's been a few weeks now and I'm really getting used to the phone. I do have a few gripes that hopefully somebody can help me with

1) The lowest sound setting can still blow out your eardrum. I can't find a happy balance between silent and blaring. If I have the volume for notifications on their lowest setting, people in my office can hear my phone go off down the hall. On Full blast, people in the next state can hear it.

Aside from customizing the volumes of the tones outside of the phone using an Audio program, is there any way to get the volume lower at the lowest setting? Perhaps 10% of what it is now?

2) Screen brightness. I have the power control widget on one of my home screens. The lowest setting at night is still pretty bright. Can this be changed so at the lowest setting at night the screen doesn't burn a hole in my retinas?

As for the sound my Fascinate sound levels are perfect. There is a code you can enter into your phone to change the actual dB levels of each sound setting (1-5) Try this:

First make sure you have the hidden menus enables.
Go into the Dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
Go back into the phone dialer (clear first code) and enter *#22745927
Now a box will come up asking for the SPC code. Enter 000000
Press the Hiddenmenu Enable radio button.

The dialing code string you have to use is *##

To change the sound after you have done the above is:

*#28346#

Just look around in that and see if you can find the option. I cant look on mine right now but I will go and try this as soon as I can to make sure im right.

Credit egg_head for this info.

Ok yeah it is in there. I hope this helps you out.
