Group messaging

on GoSMS pro you go to settings>advanced>send> and then check the "group SMS" feature and this should fix all the problems..... I use it on my phone and I have had no problems with it

Yeah, I have SMS Pro as well. I get all the messages in one group, but my replies are received individually. Is that the best this app can do? Or am I doing anything else wrong?

In that same area do you by any chance also have "send as split conversation" checked?

This group messaging is fixed in android 4.2. I rooted my GS3 and installed AOKP and my group messaging works great. Even with iPhone users

I just bought a Galaxy S4 because I heard that the group messaging was, in fact, fixed with 4.2.2 However, it is NOT. Well, let's say it's partially fixed. I can send group messages to iPhones with no problems, but I don't get all the group responses. I did some very specific testing with two iPhones and my S4, and it very definitely does not work. Sometimes I'll get all the responses from one person and none from the other, and sometimes I'll get some responses from both people. To make matters even worse, if one of the iPhones sends a picture along with the message, I don't receive responses from either of the iPhones. I can send a picture with no problems, though. I'm a field engineer, and being able to group text with pix is critical to my job, so this really irritates me. In my opinion, the S4 is superior to the iPhone, but the group messaging thing is a deal breaker for me. Back to the iPhone.
