Group text isn't working after nougat update on my Verizon galaxy s7

I'm specifically not able to send or receive a group text to iphone. I haven't tried a group text solely to android owners.

I'm using textra and on verizon. I've tried with wifi off and on. Any suggestions?

Also read that t-mobile and att users were having issues

I just solved the problem. Under textra mms settings -> mms behavior I switched it from legacy to system then a slew of messages came through

My Note 5 had the same issue (MMS messages wouldn't send after Nougat update). For some reason, switching from Legacy to System wasn't an option in my Settings. However... I use Package Disable Pro, and there was a function called MmsService that had been disabled - I don't know when or why it was disabled, probably as a part of some other bundle being disabled. Anyway, once i activated that function in PDP, the MMS/texting issue was instantly fixed.

I have a galaxy S6 and am using the stock Samsung messaging app. Since the Nougat update, I have also been having trouble receiving MMS group messages. I have reset my network setting, checked that my MMS is on, and also performed a partial cache wipe. Has anyone figured out how to resolve this issue? I have a ticket in with Verizon, but they have not been able to resolve the issue.

Using Walmart Family Mobile which uses T-Mobile network (I think) and I have the same problem with not being able to send group texts/messages. I don't see that Legacy/System option.

Called Walmart Support and they have not been able to solve this issue.
