GS7 Won't Receive MMS

[Android Central Question]

Hello all,
About a week ago my Galaxy S7 updated from Android 7.0 to 8.0
Before this update, my mobile data would auto connect whenever I got a MMS. Now, I have to manually switch it on every time I receive one. I've searched all over but found nothing.
Carrier is Straight Talk if that helps.

You normally only have wifi on?

"It's not a bug, it's a feature". Carrier doesn't matter. Check to make sure that background data isn't restricted.
