Gsm radio for vzw GNex

So I just got a vzw nexus for the intention of putting it on T-Mobile but I found out it won't be compatible because of radios. I was wondering if I root and flash a ROM that comes with gsm radios will it work? Any help is appreciated. If there is a ROM any stable suggestions?

"Radios" are physical hardware pieces within the phone (GPS, Wifi, CDMA, LTE, etc)
The radio frequencies can be changed. But if its a CDMA radio, It will not connect to any GSM radios.
Verizon is CDMA and T mobile is GSM. So this phone will not work on T-mobiles network. You might be able to get Voice to work. But just no data.
