GT N7100 freezing on lock screen

Phone freezes after entering pin and phone needs to be restarted by either taking battery out or holding the power button.

Pin is required as device syncs with exchange account.

Android ver is 4.1.2
Phone is rooted

The phone hasn't always done this. No recent updates done and all recent apps have removed

Any ideas?

Same problem here too. Odd random restarts too. Any ideas. My note is Not rooted stock os from vodaUk/Samsung

I am having the same problem. My Note 2 was stable before I had an automatic rom update. After that it's suffered from random crashes, freezes when unlocking, restarts itself, when I am in a call or finish a call my screen goes crazy as if I'm touching everything on it at once. This causes contacts to be merged/deleted etc by accident.

The phone was excellent, perfect for my business needs... but now, sadly, I'm sick and tired of it.

Wondering if I should put a custom ROM on it.... Otherwise I may 'accidentally' drive over it.

If anyone know's why it's acting like this or a way to overcome it, please post.
