I don't want to root my phone and was wondering what the best controller that worked with GTA 3 ?

You dont need to root to use a PS3 controller
U need this though: Amazon.com: eForCity Micro USB OTG to USB 2.0 Adapter: Computers & Accessories

Connect one end to your phone and the other end to a PS3 controller via Micro-USB cable and boom u got a game controller for GTA and many other games
