gtab will not turn on/cant access apx

i got a free gtab that needed fixing and so im on a quest to fix this thing.it wont turn on at all,the charger light works but thats about it.iv done everything to reset the thing and nothing works.i cant acess apx with the button combo but i manage to get to it via shorting out the k1 connectors below reset button.the screen doesnt turn on tho, which is weird because its not cracked or broken or anything.i think its a software issue.i tried to nvflash it but i get to the point were it says "waiting for bootloader to initialize".and then it just stops there and does nothing.any ideas on what i can do?
