Guess I'm going to leave AT&T if we don't get 6.0 by the end of the month.

So I did the update and we'll see how everything goes. I kept getting the error "Unfortunately Messages has Stopped". I gave up on "Messages" app and per another thread's recommendation simply installed Messenger. My wife is a texting fiend so if that doesn't work I'll be sure to hear about it.

Had same issue until factory reset

Update is freaking awesome! Phone is twice as fast new look new emojis... Only been messing with it for a couple minutes... So happy we finally got it! Oh and no need to do a factory reset.

I agree Google knocked it out the park with 6.0

The stock messenger app is much better in 6.0 than 5.1

The way videos and pics sent much improved for most part

Hey guys,
I've just checked my updates and it says that G890AUCS3BPDS (5.1.1) is the latest version of the device. Does anyone else have this issue?
EDIT - Could this be as I have unlocked my phone from AT&T or because I live in the UK?

Whats this software called??

EDIT - I've loaded on Kies3 (which is incompatable with the phone) and Smart Switch (which says the device, which is still on 5.1.1, is up to date). Is there another software I can use or is side-loading the only option I have??

Thanks

The more I use 6.0 the more I love it. I HATED 5.1 and couldn't wait for the update. 5.1 was full of bugs and a lot of functionality of various apps / features weren't user friendly. Google got their act together with 6.0!
