[GUIDE][8/1] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Re: [GUIDE][6/29] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

I flashed Francos Jelly Bean Kernel and all is well, in fact it fixed my Deep Sleep issue, At first I thought it was gonna keep me at 1600 ghz setting and thought "cool" but still concerned, did a reboot and now it's at stock levels so playing nice for me right now.

Of course now I'm torn. Meh, maybe tonight lol.

There's a linaro kernel out there, I'm going to add it to the kernels post soon.

Kernel post added with two linaro builds--1 stock and 1 r207. See the general thread I linked too for any and all updates!

Two bigger updates -- added another port and moved VanirBEAN down to custom roms, b/c let's face it, that's what it is at this point.

Same way I did, read those threads. Download the file, put on phone, place in that folder.

Same, I'm trolling the thread now. I'm mainly concerned with stability at this point lol.

Ok, I'm on V2. I couldn't wait. Went very smoothly though. This thing is very noticeably faster. Definitely not a placebo affect. It's night and day. iPhone guy next to me at work is jealous too. Score!!!!!!

Franco kernel 210 will overclock you to 1600 and then back to stock on every other reboot, kinda weird, flashing 207 Linaro.

I've been reading the threads, and cannot find where to change the lock screen txt. Could you point us in the direction?:)

Can anyone verify if Swype is working on JB? I can't even sign into my beta acct.

How's battery life working out for everyone ? Seems as if I'm not doing as well regarding that aspect of this ROM.

Tips to improve it?
