No, I would make sure it's the specific package that the dev used. I mean you can try it and then flash the proper one over it, but I can't guarantee 100% success.

Also, finishing up work then booting into Ubuntu. My apologies .

"Google confirmed to ABC News that the Galaxy Nexus had been pulled from its Google Play store as a result of the judge’s decision, but said it would begin selling the device again next week running the latest version of Android — Android 4.1, known as Jelly Bean. The updated version of Android would address the issues in dispute, Google said."

I know this isn't the "proper" place to ask this, but this is the main thread I've been hanging around lately, and I don't know where else to post about it, since I'm not sure if there's a "fix" or what that "fix" would entail.

Anyway, is it just me, or when I get a call, does it never show the full contact picture (when a call comes while the phone is asleep)? I thought this was one of the things Google was promoting about ICS, but even when I was still stock, this was the case. It's like, only a small sliver of the picture shows at the very top, and the rest is all black, plus the "unlocker" (to answer or decline the call).

Just wondering if there's any kind of "solution" to this.

though lately i havent been doing nandroids, and have been DF without protection
