Tried downloading the JB14 Kernel and I can't get the MD5's to match up. Anyone else have this issue? Using the JB13 now and battery life is so much better than stock Kernel, but would love to try JB14 to see if there are any differences.

Don't update to 2.0. It completely broke GPS and Root Access Rights. Many users have already logged it in.

Has anyone noticed that we no longer have predictive punctuation when texting in JB? In ICS, when you type a word and hit space, you get punctuation options like a comma, explanation point, question mark, etc. It gone in JB. Am I missing something?

Go into settings, input, keyboard, advanced, and turn off next word prediction and you get back the punctuation bar at the top. I use commas like a mfer.

The GPS thing seems easily solved (at least from reading RW)...the SU thing is a bit puzzling. I may log into the IRC channel and see what's what.

I'm monitoring IRC as well. I noticed the GPS fix, so that seems easy to resolve. I'm still wondering on the SU issue, which is more important imo.

EDIT: Can't fix GPS, cause I can't get root permissions... LOL. So the SU issue is definitely more important.

Looks like a solid changelog, but I am going to hold off until things seem to be squared away with the issues.

Running JB17 with no issues. Not sure what happened to 15 and 16

Crazy... but fun. Is Trinity Colors baked in the JB17-kernel or is that something that has to be switch on within their app? (Did initially notice a little more blue compared to stock)

how do you r get into IRC?> I tried to google how to set up IRC but no luck, and instructions on this?

Ok so my JB flash last night worked great and phone is working nicely. also got swype up and running too ( nice program but I had to turn off vibrate and keyboard.)
Showed it off today and my wife and she got jealous, is JB just for newer phones?
she has an Motorola Droid X2, Android version 2.3.5 or if you could point me into the right direction of a group like this.

one last question... is it worth the jump to trinity kernel? pros - cons.....

Have a happy 4th everybody and stay cool for those of use in the "heat wave states"!

More speed, better battery life.

Con? Automatic color control. Need an app (franco or trinity's) to turn it off.
