Nah, just keep track of which one is the GAPPs file and which one is the rom file. When they have those long, weird filenames it becomes a PITA.

Reading the features list for TR4NSCEND, I came upon this..

I know people were asking for "less-technical" terms under features lists... but really? Haha I have absolutely no idea what "lobst3r butter, tits, skittles" means.

It's all good. For some reason the rom didn't include a camera (no worries, you'll have one b/c you're dirty flashing) and Maps (just DL from play store).

Yes.

For Beats ==>

Clear cache in the app, go to Settings => Sounds => Effects, select it, then open the app and enable it in there. Set it to extreme, or so the dev says.

For Maps ==>

Download from the Play Store.

For Wallet ==>

Sideload it.

For root ==>

Reflash it and look for SuperSU. It's there.

you got a good memory since I had that issue with the camera, gonna try a DF tomorrow, going out and dont want any issues with my phone right now.

you have a post on the "correct" way to DF the rom? do I need the new gapps as well? I dled the one that says 20120704-proper.zip

I've been hunting for the boot animation of the glowing/pulsing Nexus X that I believe came with JB. I have the one from the Nexus 7 right now (which I really like), but want to give the other one a go.

If anyone who has it could throw it up for me, it would be much appreciated!

So for some reason I'm not going into deep sleep I'm on vicious v1 with Franco kernel 215 I never had this problem until I tried out trinity v17 didn't like it so I restored a backup and now I'm having this issue any ideas?

You can grab it from any of the JB ROMs (unless they've changed it, Jelly Belly still uses it I know). Download the ROM and use 7zip to explore the zip. The bootani should be in /system/media, called bootanimation.zip.

Stick it on your phone and use root explorer to move it to /system/media (or /data/local, where it will just override anything in the first location). Alternatively you can push it there over adb.

I lied--camera is included within gallery for JB. So you have a camera!

To dirty flash, clear cache/dalvik then flash the rom and then GAPPs. GAPPs are always "reflashed."

Unzip the rom you're using on your computer; find the file named bootanimation.zip. Put that on your SDcard then move it to /data/local.

If I had to wager a guess, Maps/Latitude/location services. Open up Maps, let it find you. Open up another GPS app as well. Wait for a lock (the GPS symbol has that filled in circle thing) then close both apps. You should be good to go.
