[GUIDE][8/1] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Re: [GUIDE][7/12] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

May stick it out with CM10 for a bit. Quickest GPS lock out of everything I tried, very smooth, and even if it's a kang, a very, very professional look and feel. Great work.

3.6 now... no issues.. I haven't had any since about 3.1. Buttttt BC im addicted I updated! PS: don't forget to "fix permissions" . I always do! Cheers

Yes. They have a superfluous gallery app, gallery2, but that's easily removed.

CM10 is very nice. Nice and snappy. Love the boot animation too

is the car charger stock as well? when i got my gnex, i had a generic micro usb charger that would absolutely not charge my phone, but worked with all other phones. i compared the generic vs OEM, and i saw that the connector tip on the generic was 1mm or so too long, so there was no connection i guess.

at home, i use my kindle charger because the cable is longer, and it works fine.

dont really have a solution for you. not sure if the ROM could impact charging like that.

Car charger is OEM Verizon branded.

I tried 2- LG house charges (came with older Bluetooth headsets no luck).
My old Blackberry charger works, the OEM works, and I found an older Moto charger and at it worked, my best guess is the LG do not have the voltage/power requirements to charge the phone any more, so into the trash they go.

Thanks for your help.

With 3.6 JB does the Gapps fix the auto D/L yet, if not I may have to wait until the weekend to take care of this unless we can DF the rom. Maybe by than JD will be closer to 4.0 lol :D

Just put XenonHD on and first impression is very good. I really like that apex is baked in. Has been very responsive so far, but I'm still downloading everything so time will tell...

I've been dirty flashing since the 3.1 release, no issues....I can not confirm it but I heard jakeday say the gapps14 fixed the auto download issue.

DF'd JB 3.6 - seems solid so far. The franco app is being kind of wonky, but he hasn't updated the app in a few days (maybe a week?).

well cm10 Kang work on galaxy SIII?

from MY SIII in sunny FL.

What we're taking about is a galaxy nexus rom. I don't know if they have a GS3 version. I'd check the GS3 ROM/rooting forum
