[GUIDE][8/1] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

No ones mentioned it here yet, that I know of, but is there MIUI JELLY BEAN out there worthy of a flash?

Aren't they notorious for spam built into their roms?

Never noticed that in my Droid X days, that was a very good rom back then. (It's still on my DroidX that I handed down to my kids to destroy) :)

My friend had it on her nook and there were comments on Rom manager about spam being built in...I think. Time to check!

I guess it seems to differ per user but my friends mentioned random texts and emails after putting it in her nook

I just saw some very cool NAV BARs (NAtzmod) and I'm so wanting AOKP to get going again.

I never had any issues with spam when I ran MIUI on my Droid X, and that was my main ROM when I used that phone because I had by far the best battery life with it.

Can anybody tell me which JellyBean ROM is the best if I'm wanting just stock JellyBean? I'm big in customization or anything just want good ole' stock JellyBean. :D

Question on installation instruction:

Wipe the phone completely--data, cache, dalvik, and system.

Can someone elaborate on 'system'? There is no wipe system option. There's unmount system and format system in advanced however.

Please explain the 'system wipe' step. Thanks in advance!

If you're using clockworkmod, it's the format system option under Mounts and Storage. There should be a similar option in TWRP.

Yes, mine said the same thing before I switched to aokp. No problems or anything, so I would not be too worried.

THats normal for Franco kernel, I'm reading that he has a history with his kernel & CM not mixing so well.
