on a 32GB class 6+ memory card is it ok to add a 2GB+ ext4 partition?

You can create a 2GB EXT4 partition but, due to the limitation explained in my original post, under "Pros & Cons of Link2SD & Data2EXT" you probably won't be able to utilize more than about 512MB with Link2SD before your phone's internal cache fills up (at least not with the Optimus).
