[Guide] How to flash the ZV9 update, for the technically challeng

So I followed the steps correctly , got back to stock rom, correctly saw zv9 in baseband and got root. Then I formatted everything - i mean everything in the mounts section and reflashed an iho rom. The rom is now reporting baseband back at the original zv4.

Any ideas as to which area I'm not supposed to format to get this to stick ?

Should have flashed it one more time on stock recovery. The baseband in stock rom about phone is written by the rom. Look for software version. It should also say zv9 if it flashed the radio.

For the record, I've pretty much abandoned this thread. Petrah over at AF has an updated version, you ought to follow that instead of this.
