Yeah I saw that prior to me attempting the Revolutionary root process. I'll give it another try tonight when I get home from work. Thanks Gents.

I don't think you can remove an update from your HTC, or any phone for that matter. Unfortunately you will have to wait for that Root Service, which ever one you were going to use, to make a new code and system file that works with that update. Until then, you are stuck with an un-Rooted phone. Sorry bud:-\

I've done it several times successfully and never had a problem. I've also walked several other people through it. The method itself works fine, and the instability on the phone is really irrelevant, since most of the work is done on the PC via adb.

Current ROM (BootManager Slot 4): MikRunny v1.0 - Kernel: AnthraX-2.6.38.8-TEST

You either have to use HTCDev.com to unlock your bootloader and then install a custom recovery & superuser for root, or you use TacoRoot to temp root, downgrade the misc partition on your device, and then flash an older stock Gingerbread ROM via RUU or PC36IMG so you can use this method.

Yes, you can.

After unrooting, you just have to flash the latest ROM. That'll get the watermark back on your bootloader. Though I'm sure you could return it with an older version and it would still be accepted.

ROM: MikG v3.11 w/ICS Lite Theme | Kernel: Underworld v0.4 SBC
