[Guide] How To Root Samsung Transform Ultra

Kind of a nooby question but do you know how to update to jellybean or icecream sandwich on the Samsung Transform Ultra from 2.3.6?

As it is right now, the closest ROM you can get to ICS is MegaTron. This device can not handle jb.

What did you exactly? Most of the time if Odin states "connect phone" then you need to download the latest drivers for your devices.

I noticed after using now that I cant read my SD card even though its load with files & pics and it wants me to format it. So do I need to reflash a kernal to get it to recognize it and if so how do i do it.

I do know the issue at hand has nothing to do with rooting as rooting only gives you access to all files on your device.
There has been no kernal but the original ever made for this device. Unfortunately, this device can not handle a modified kernel.
With that being said, the best option is to power down device. Remove SD card. Power on the device. Insert SD card.
This device has had issues with batteries as well. This might sound weird but most issues that arises are from the battery. My device would random reboot, umount SD card, and such. Then I noticed my battery was bloated. Replaced battery and never had an issue since. My daughter uses this device till this day.
Try the above suggestion and let me know.
One question, do you have the superuser app? Has nothing to do with your issue. More of a knowledge based question.

also multiple cords and tried all 4 usb ports in rear of desktop and two in front win xp sp3 and on Win 7 Ult (which phone isnt even recognize at all reset drivers erased driver history ect ect and did kies and tried Samsung drivers on laptop (win 7) yet phone still wont recognize on that only hope is desktop win xp which recognizes the phone.

So if anyone out there has ran into this problem or sees something I did wrong or could assist in anyway I would be greatly appreciative.

now do i have to flash 2.3.4 back on to this beings its updated to 2.3.6 or what?

this thing is stressing me out never had this many issues before when rooting a phone lol
I've. Tried every framaroot from 1.4 to 1.8
I feel like this thing is unrootable lol
Yes download mode 3 finger salute. Lol and debug is on ##8778# IS on usb not uart usb and tried uart both same thing as stated above with odin and in download mode

What Odin are you using? Are you using the Odin from my thread or a different one? All Odin's do not work with this device.

Most of the time, it does deal with the drivers. Just goto the Samsung website and pick up the drivers.

Yes it will say that. Due to limitations with this device, some of the partitions are not available. Meaning the custom recovery is set for other partitions then what the this device has. You will be just fine.
