Gunk in the speakers

Love love love my Pixel 2 XL, but I've recently noticed some particles stuck in both top and bottom speakers. I thought it was dust stuck in the speaker grills, but after going at it with a soft bristle and air duster, the gunk is actually underneath the grills and moving around in there. Has anyone else had this issue?

Doubt I'll ever be able to get it out of there, but it's driving my OCD absolutely crazy!! Thanks all.

Gently vacuum. Put your fingers over the vacuum nozzle to prevent too much force. If that doesn't work, how about tweezers?

Now that you mention it, I have a piece of lint in the top speaker...off to get tweezers.

I'll try the vacuum later when I'm home but I think the particles are too large to fit through the holes in the speaker grills. Tweezers definitely will not work since the debris is underneath the grills. Thanks for the reply!

As others said Gently using a vacuum should work. I only get lint in mine which I can normally blow out.

If there's actually gunk, it could be hardened little pieces of the glue used to hold the speaker down, or pieces f glue used to hold the screen in. (Early Monday morning or late Friday manufacturing problem?)

This thread caused me to get out my high intensity LED magnifier!
:)
Thankfully a close and through examination of my Pixel 2 XL found my speaker grills to be problem free.
