I tried to do this but the LG G3 is just too wide for me. I really liked the camera though which is the main reason I wanted to try it. I have two young kids so camera is important to me. However, ease of operation is more important and I fond the HTC One easier to use on a daily basis. I also missed the premium build and boomsound speakers.
I also noticed the battery life just wasn't as good as the M8. I had to charge at least one extra time to get through the day. I can make it through the day
on a single charge with the M8. It's nice that you can swap the battery but not my style I guess.
I think LG is on the right course I just hope they can incorporate some performance and ergonomic improvements in the next iteration. I'll be keeping an eye on their products for sure!
Other things I liked:
-knock code is really convenient and works pretty consistently
-screen is sharp (though the text does get funky sometimes)
-I actually used qslide and found it handy at times
-the handset is lighter than the M8
-I didn't have any problem adjusting to the back buttons.
