So I rooted the phone successfully, followed by flashing BAMF 3.0, but forgot to do the radio first. Obviously didn't get any kind of cell signal. So I went back to restore to the previous one and after it rebooted it showed me a phone that was without rom manager and without superuser. When I downloaded rom manager again it said that i was no longer rooted. I confirmed superuser was gone by searching on the phone.

I am new to this, but thought with all the great instruction I could figure this out, but struggling a bit. Thought I had to reroot the phone so I was about to do that, but now in adb the TB won't connect and show a serial number.

Someone please help!

Thanks.

Well if ADB will not show the device as connect, then it will definitely not show the serial number... do you have HTC's Sync loaded on your PC???

Did you remove the PG05IMG.zip file from your SD Card after you rooted it???

Yes I have HTC's Sync and yes the PG file was moved off of the SD card after I rooted.

Really kind of frustrating that I can't even get the Serial number to appear in adb, but it will show up everywhere else on the computer. I don't get it.

Now when I go to reroot the phone and it is testing the connection I get the following response:
adb is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Then it tells me I am not connected and that I need to check the usb port, cable, phone and make sure the phone is set to charge only. Help please.

You're using a windows cpu? You may need a newer or different version of android sdk, or you may need to resinstall adb. I'm not exactly sure how you go about that, because i have mac, and you don't need to install adb or sdk with a mac, you just need to have them in the correct places.

I would search the windows root/auto root thread there is lots of information on this stuff in there, i know it's a long thread but this has come up before i'm positive.

Have you checked to make sure your running adb from the folder with adb or have added adb to your windows path?

If you have adb installed or are running it correctly you shouldn't see "adb is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
