Half circle notch on screen

I have the s10 plus. If I'm looking at my phone, on the left, a little further than half way down there is this very small half circle notch on the edge of the screen. I cant figure out if it's been there the whole time I've had it, or if it's something new. I noticed it maybe a month th or more ago. It's not in screenshots I take but it's always visible on the screen itself. Does anyone else have it? What do you recommend? I dont have insurance on my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you take a picture of the screen using another device and show us? Does it show up no mater what app you're using? If so, it's probably a screen defect. You could try contacting Samsung for warranty repair/replacement, but you'd have to hope there's absolutely no sign of trauma on the phone, which would most likely void the warranty coverage for that.

I've attached a picture. My phone is in pristine condition. Had always had tempered glass on it and in a case. How would I go about contacting them about this?

You may not have insurance on the phone , but you have manufacturers 1 year warranty.

Is that always there when going into apps not just home screen?

If you go into Samsung members app you can contact them through there .

Finally made it to one of the places today that samsung told me to go and have the phone checked out. They said it's a dead spot and should have the parts to fix tomorrow or saturday.

Lol ..that's good not uncommon for people to have multiple phones .
