This morning I woke up and only the top half of the screen showed anything. The bottom half still responded to touch but didn't show anything. I tried a soft reset twice and that seemed to work but a couple hours later it did it again. Should I bring it into Verizon and get them to give me a new one on the spot or just wait till I get back home from my vacation? I'm 20 miles from the Wyoming and South Dakota border and don't want to have a phone sitting on my front door step for the next 4 days.. anyone's advice or anyone with the same thing that happened to you.. let me know what you did please.. thanks in advance for the help.

Every time I took it to a store they made me call and get a CLNR sent to me..

I've taken two phones in for buttons not working and both times they replaced them but I had to get the like new replacements sent to me. Didn't have any problems with the replacements....maybe if you're traveling they will give you a new one??

Well, went to Verizon today.. the first guy who checked me in looked at it and it was strobe lighting then 25 minutes after that when I FINALLY got help, the phone would simply not do it. So therefore, same phone. Not a refurb. Not a new one.
Ready to drop Verizon now. Cause that's bs.

Screen flickered like mad for about 2 hours.. then stopped.. so I took a video of it and am headed to Verizon and not going to leave until I have a new Maxx in my hands

Probably are just going to call tech support for you and have them send you a phone in the mail. I've seen that done before where they actually call on your behalf. Kinda speeds up the process but you're not gonna get a new phone. They don't keep like new replacements in stock as far as I know and they sure aren't going to give you a brand new phone
