Wow! I'm in love with the look and feel of the Halo Gray, absolutely a great job on it. the back feels like it's in between a Google Pixel 2 and an iPhone 7.
Here are some pictures I just took:

I hear a lot of people complaining especially with the screen getting all scratched up.
Got mine today. It's a nice device. Having go get used to it. Coming from a note 8. Wonder if they'll make an update to where the fingerprint scanner will be used to bring down the notification panel at some point.
I liked it, but it's going back. Honestly, there was something about it that I can't put my finger on that felt like it was lacking. Just felt like it wasn't up to snuff for some reason. I'll either get an s8 or V30 and call it a day at some point probably. Are you getting used to it? I too have a note 8 that I'm probably giving to my dad. The small form factor takes getting used to but the screen is still large enough to make the most of the real estate.
Yeah, I've seen some on reddit with micro scratches on the screen and more noticable scratches on the black moon ceramic. I'm using a wet install screen protector and leather sleeve to prevent scratches. On reddit and here, I could have sworn people keep saying the screen scratches easy and they are seeing those small ones that aren't deep.

I'm mostly going caseless with the IQ Shield screen protector and fitBag. I do have a case I use when I think I need it. Didn't go caseless with pure white. Are you caseless with yours? Fit bag makes a nice sleeve
Yeah, I went with halo gray. Love the overall feel and look. It's pretty much the color and texture I wanted from the beginning. Doesn't randomly slip off slightly uneven surfaces. The frame also looks more matte than on the pure white.Did you go with the halo gray ? How are you liking it?

It's smooth without being slippery. Kind of like a matte ceramic tile.Sorry, I missed it - what is the texture on the Halo Gray Edition?

Just got my Halo Gray from Amazon last week. What a gorgeous finish! Can't say the screen seems any different though? I had a black moon prior to that, but it was a carrier swap not an original release.Anyone else that has one of the earlier colors notice the screen has warmer color temperature on the Halo Gray? It was pretty noticable compared to the Pure White I had. Wonder if Essential changed the screen calibration for the newer colors or it's within the normal variance for the LCD.
