Android Central Question

Why does the g7 power model not have the hand wave feature. On my older model I could just wave my hand over it and I could see the time displayed. Please help. Thanks.

I moved this to the G7 forum for more specific traffic.

I believe you had the Moto g7 Power before which has that feature. The LG G7 uses an always on display technology instead you can enable is settings.

I think you're right, I'll move the thread to the Moto G7 Power forum.

To the OP, the moto G7 power does not have 'approach' for Moto Display/Peek Display. You will have to nudge or move the phone to wake it up for Moto Display to show.

OOPS sorry. Gettin' tired of all of these companies making phones with the same name!:p

Download WaveUp from the play store. The free one is open source and must he based on Motorola software because after it is installed the WaveUp icon appears in the notification tile list.

Works perfectly.

Looks like he has some others that are setup to donate funds if you like the app.
