Does anyone find that their Handcent sends their friends the same text 3 times?

Mine has been doing this a lot lately, is there a way to fix it or is it a network thing?

common issue, covered multiple times in threads--some people saying it happens more when on 3g vs 4g, texting from Verizon to ATT, etc.

various solutions, but ymmv:

battery pull
clear messaging app cache
switch to another SMS app

for me, my problem was fixed when i switched from Stock to GoSMS. i know you're running Handcent, but the solution really is finnicky.

it's a complaint on Google's forums & people can vote it up/down to catch the attention of Google.

Does anyone else have the problem of receiving duplicate messages when txt is sent to <phone#>@vtext.com ?

I have noticed that with Handcent if I have the box checked to prevent it from sending it more then once, my MMS doesn't work properly. When checked, I am unable to send them so I have to keep that off.
