handcent notification issue

I looked around but couldn't find any other posts with the same issue.

I've been wondering if anyone has been having the same issue as me. I have the OG Droid and I use handcent for sms. I'll receive a text and open it from the notification bar and it will go the that specific conversation but the text I had recently received sometimes will not show up in the conversation and sometimes it does. I wonder if it's an sms issue or a handcent issue... or possibly my phone just sucks lol.

Any ideas?

I've seen the same thing but it hasn't happened for awhile.

Try uninstalling handcent, resetting your phone and reinstalling it. I had that happen once or twice a while ago. Sometimes lingering code from previous versions can cause issues, as this has helped me on a couple different apps before post updating.

I second the uninstalling process, but before re-installing I suggest unmounting and removing your SD card prior to downloadin then you can move it to the card if yuo feel like it.

This is interesting, ive been experiencing the same problem with the new facebook chat. its wierd.
handcent has been working fine for myself though. might be an overall problem with the way some SMS's come through.
