Hello all!
I just switched from the iPhone a couple weeks ago and been using Go SMS on my Galaxy S3. Today, I stumbled upon Handcent's feature: Handcent Talk. I decided to give it a try since it'll pretty much emulate one of the features I miss from the iPhone, iMessage. The problem is, I can't get Handcent Talk to bind to my phone number. I tried multiple times, constantly getting an error message, and now I get no error messages at all (just goes through the timer while waiting for the authorization code to come in which never does). I tried my Google Voice number for kicks and that went through no problem (didn't complete the binding process).
So, is this an issue with Verizon, my SMS settings that I don't know about, Norton Mobile Security (since I know it has SMS interception for Anti-Theft), or what? Has anyone experienced this issue and manage to get it to work (aside from it just working the second or third try)?
