Hands free activation error and PRL update error

Had the phone almost a year. Running reborn for a while and no problems, but the other day the phone froze and I had to do a battery pull. Restarted the phone and strangely it went thru hands free activation. Activation failed and gave this message. "XPT open PPP failed(20). Please try again later."
The phone works fine though even after this message. But now I get the same message when trying to do a PRL update.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Nandroid your current phone and then restore the Gingerbreak Stock VD image thats on the forums

Use that to update PRL first, then update profile, then reboot, and see if you can make a call / send a text

If that works without issues then re-flash back to your current Nandroid backup and see if the error goes away

Thanks. But it must have been a problem on Sprints side. Update PRL works fine now. All I did was wait a few days and the problem went away. Kind of weird.
