I have the verizon windshield mount for my DI and looking for a fm transmitter or bluetooth device. Want to listen to music and use it for phone calls. Main thing I want is to use the phone for all of the controls since phone will be right in front of me on the windshield. everything I've found that is bluetooth/fm transmitter has controls on device to answer/end calls and mic is on device. I have a belkin tunecast for my Ipod and it has a 3.5 on the bottom of it, thought that would work so I tried it with my Dare and it doesn't come on until the ipod gets attached and after I did that it still didn't work. Would the mic still function if there was a plug in the headphone jack? Basically want to hear everything the phone does through car speakers (nav, phone, music) and have a functional mic. Thought about the griffin itrip auto universal but it is strictly a fm transmitter. Thanks
FYI: wont get phone until june 1 cant wait trying to get everything ready.

I have the same windshield mount. I did not like the way the speaker phone sounded. I purchased one of the fm transmitters from Big Lots for $7.00. It works great. I set my navigator, listen to Pandora, and take phone calls. When someone calls, Pandora pauses and I take.the call. I don,t need the extra Mic. In fact, the Mic on the phone works so well that when I tell the caller that they are on speaker they respond, "really, that sounds better than your blue tooth."
