Hands on with the V20

The steady recording was having a bit of problem and the whole video was shaking. Maybe that's becoz it's a preview unit. Even though the camera performance in low light is amazing.
Many reviewers have said this was a bug that's been worked out and video recording on production units are great.

You guys really need to search #lgv20 on Instagram. LG has given the phone to some really talented photographers and what they have on there so far is nothing short of mouth watering.

Check this out. Max showcasing one of the reasons why I'm waiting for the V20. https://youtu.be/bqn8NOAC9BE It seems everyone has a pre production unit these days but no one has the final version yet. Whatever the reason, as long as the boot looping issues are dead and gone I'm fine with the wait. I'd still like a little more information though but it's cool.

A 300mah difference between the two doesn't make it uninspiring.

Actually probably worse, since already 9% less battery powering 1440P LCD, with high performance DACs and an extra display as well. Half the battery life for simple tasks as wifi video streaming of the Note 7 and Plus. Seems they should have went the other direction with battery since using a more power hungry display, extra display and the special DACs (if you use them).

The device could have had a 4,000 mah battery and not made much of a size difference. With cover removed, there appears to be a lot of wasted space that could have been battery, but then customers might complain it is heavy.

LG either way probably gets flack.

I agree with everything here. Battery anxiety is a real thing!!
The battery is already facing an uphill battle with that LCD battery hogging screen, but to have a 2nd screen to power 24/7 to boot!

They will certainly catch flack for their poor launch decisions or lack of transparency as to the delay of releasing basic information. A whole four weeks. Pre production units for everyone with no solid reviews. Samsung was able to handle a recall in the same span. Apple iPhone 7/Plus launched and have already been sold. Pixel phones launched with pricing and availability. The world is moving and LG is standing still. Where's the sense of urgency?

The description of the video is completely inaccurate however if this little concert was indeed recorded with the V20 as I believe it to be, that quality is amazing. Especially the audio. https://youtu.be/vGZG_uCsdOg

If you see LG's marketing and communication for appliance and TV's they are following the same process with phones. LG will not optimize sales for phones until they treat phones differently from appliances and TV's. Product placement for those products are completely different.

Any person with just one basic marketing class would concur. Different market penetration conditions for different products.

3200 is so very disappointing!! 4000 would have been amazing. Why oh why doesn't anyone care about battery life other than a mid tier phone like the new Moto Z Play?! Sure I can swap batteries but I don't want to carry extra things around. Just make the phone last all day!

I'd still choose 3200mah removable battery over any above 3500mah non removable battery as it's more convenient. Besides if we need more batteries, there's always the power bank option available. :)

That's how I feel. Though I would like to have seen a slightly larger battery, I feel this will be adequate.

This latest hands on video shows that LG has indeed improved upon the stabilization a whole lot. There's no jello wobble effect going on here. The exposure just needs a quick adjustment to match the contrast of the iPhone 7 but things are looking really good. I'm gonna say the delay was to deliver a completely knock out product and since the Note 7 is officially dead they do have some time. https://youtu.be/r2OJbQd8Ae8
