Handwriting recognition on Samsung Keyboard

Hi all ,

On my note 8 the Samsung keyboard had a very useful handwriting recognition feature which worked well even without the stylus. I just wondered if there is any way of getting it on the s8 ? I've tried 3rd party apps but they don't work as well as the Samsung one.
