Hangouts video call issue

Not sure why this is happening but... I got a video call last night, when I answered it my phone continued to vibrate during the call so I told the person I would call them back. Well, when I ended the call the damn thing kept on vibrating for about 5 more min. Annoying AF!!!!! Has anybody else had this issue? If so how did you fix it?

You may wish to clear the Cache. If that doesn't fix the issue then try a factory reset. Backup everything using Smart Switch and your google account before the factory reset as you will lose everything not factory installed.

There's a couple of things you could try before a factory reset. Do you have Hangouts set as default for messaging? If so, first change the default back to the stock app before doing anything else.

- In settings - apps select Hangouts, force stop, clear cache and restart the phone.

- If no go, repeat the same steps but this time clear data.

- A bit more radical approach could be disabling/uninstalling updates for Hangouts, restart the phone and enable it back.
