Just purchased a white one on att.com at 12:40PM CST. Its now 1:40PM and the status has already changed from Backordered to Processing.

After having all stores tell me sorry not today and no ETA...I went and "pre-ordered".

Had to order it online and pay for $15 overnight shipping...did it at 2:45 EST so hopefully my order is processed today (before 4PM EST cutoff time).

I then called 611 and complained about the situation and requested the activation fee waived and free overnight shipping. At first they told me sorry and blamed Samsung...but he came back after putting me on hold and said the shipping charge would be waived. I still have to call back after my account has been charged to get a credit for the activation fee.

My status is processing and my credit card has a pending charge of $230 on it so I am hoping that it gets shipped out overnight and arrives tomorrow.

EDIT: 6PM EST (just over 3 hours after placing my order) I have a tracking number and Fedex will deliver my phone by 3PM tomorrow!

I ordered mine through Premier online and wasn't given the oppurtunity to choose overnight shipping. I called and asked them to look into it so he said he would make notes for when it ships to use overnight instead. I ordered it online at about 11:40 am and it's not 3 p.m. with no change in status other than Status: Preorder. I have a bad feeling but I'm so tired of calling every single store in the state of Georgia to find it.
