So now this thread has turned into a fight thread. That's useful. How about keeping the fighting down to a minimum people. Please. Great if you got you phone. Obviously the white phones are not shipping yet. I ordered a white one. I am not mad at the people who are getting their blue one before me. Good for them. I think the shipping of the white phones at a later date is unreasonable unless there turns out to be some bad production issue. I did see a tweet about a white one catching fire. And some having a loose battery cover. Maybe they are holding some back. Waiting is all we can do. But a communication of some sort would be nice.
 
Not to overstate the obvious but can we get this thread back on topic? We all understand there is MASSIVE tension. My order too is in AT&T lala land but let's not lash out at each other.

Yes only the pre-ordered online seem to be shipping and released ATM.

Edit: Its a very mixed bag. The demand for the device is so high they are having problems meeting demands. It seems the 32 gb models have been delayed a bit longer than the 16 gb. Regardless of the reasons it looks like the carriers are doing their best to make good to their word of getting the device out as soon as promised.

Nope, I think its just because they're totally overwhelmed on this one, which is why they've officially stated that some won't now arrive until as late as the 25th.

I ordered online, on the 13th, a blue one. No phone call/email/text here as of now. If I get it tomorrow, great, and if Monday, well that's not all that bad either. In fact, I may place a call to AT&T and leverage this to get my activation fee refunded and maybe the $50 difference between the AT&T price and the Amazon price as others say they have done. That could end up being a win-win, I'd wait until Monday happily for $86!

No, that's not the reason. Plenty of us ordred through at&t's premier site on the 6th and still have no idea when we are getting our phones.

And as I said before, this will be the last time I ever pre-order from at&t, much less ordr anything from them online. tired of their lies.

10:00am central... still showing backorder status online.

I thought I'd call both the corporate store and ATT, hoping that maybe, just maybe, I might hear good news.

Nope. Still back ordered.

Now i have to wait until I get back from my trip.:'(
 
I did my preorder online June 15th and the only info I have received from att is the comfirmation email for the order.... I have not received and emails/texts or phone calls about my order either, why is that????? All my info I have found out is when I call att.
 
I just talked to my local att rep and he didn't know what the samsung galaxy s 3 was.... He also told me that they release phones on sundays. This whole thing about buying from a brick and mortar store is completely hopeless.
 
I GOT MINE!!! I ordered 11am on the 8th, and as of last night no status update online...said processing, then backordered, then back to processing...i checked this am and it had a tracking number and said it shipped the 19th...lol...i'm pissed I can't play with it at work though!!!:):D:p:cool:

I'm not a premier customer, I ordered the blue SGS3 in a corporate at&t store on the 6th sometime between 9 - 10am and requested home delivery, NOT in-store pick-up. And since then I have had no word (email or otherwise) of the status of my order. And literally, just now I received an email from at&t with the FedEx tracking number and much to my surprise, the shipment was "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" and said it should arive by 3pm.

Congrats. I did an in-store order of the Blue SGS3 on the 8th, but I wanted to pick it up at the store, so I'm hoping sometime soon I get a least an email from At&t.
 
I find it weird that ppl who preordered using an upgrade said they are no longer eligible for upgrade but mine says I still am
