Haptic Feedback

So I haven't seen anything about this, do the on-screen buttons have the option for haptic feedback? A feature I would surely miss from all the capacitive buttons over the years.... I'm guessing no, but I'm not certain.

I would be pretty sure they have haptic feedback as it's standard on any phone that has capacitive buttons. Plus the phone no doubt vibrates, so I don't see why the software wouldn't take advantage of that for HF. I can pretty much tell you for sure it would have it.

I'm fairly certain that I watched a hands-on or unboxing or something where you could hear the vibrate motor when one of the buttons was pressed. If I find it, I'll post it here.

I can't imagine ics not having haptic feedback, thats been standard on any touch device for years. In the miniscule chance it doesn't, i don't think you'll moss it much, since it's basically just a confirmation, anf the buttons highlight for that purpose.

It does. It feels exactly the same as other Samsung devices.

It has to have haptic feedback. I cannot imagine the Nexus not having haptic feedback as every cell phone out had a motor for vibrate.

I've never owned a Samsung device, but have used a few Galaxy S phones, and I really don't like the vibration on it. I have my feedback set pretty low on my Incredible and it feels more like a button press, but Samsung phones always have a more sharp feeling vibration or something. Maybe the weights are lighter and rotate faster, but it just feels different from most other phones to me.

Cant be as bad as the RAZR - they can't fit much or a motor in there...

I'm also not a fan of Haptive Feedback, but to each his own.

Haptive Feedback = useless and the first thing I will turn off.
