I consider the edge screen a negative. It forces me to use of a case, which I don't like because it makes the phone larger. This was the biggest problem, hardware-wise, with my S7 edge.

I didn't realize the phone literally forced you to use a case.

Now that's what I call a smart phone.

I believe he meant due to accidental touches and stuff. For some it happens since we all don't have the same hands.

With the way the sides taper on the S7E i definitely prefer a case. I never seem to be able to get a firm grip on the device without one.

Yeah I liked it more with a case. I also like my Pixel XL with a case because I feel like it can just slip through my hands without one haha. The grip from the case is nice :).

Case adds a bit of beef so I don't have to worry about touching the screen. I never liked using my wife's S7 Edge when it wasn't in a case, just felt awkward and I had to fuss too much with how I used it to avoid accidentally touching the screen.

I, too, am not too fond of the curved screens. Yeah, they look nice, but in operation, not a fan. I also dislike hardware home buttons (for various reasons) and whether its the size or shape or location, the S7's FPS performance is junk... my prints are registered on my wife's phone and a successful authentication is sort of a myth... it rarely every works. But that's me.

You do not count. You're strange.
