Hard reset to a rooted mobile?

People, I am new to this site, and I basically came to make a question: What happens if I do the hard reset thing to my rooted LG G2? Will it deleted EVERYTHING? Even the root access?
I have to tell I want to do this since some few days ago I noticed the battery started to drain so incredibly fast... What can you tell or recommend in any case?
