So how much of the new functionality in N1 is due to the phone, and how much will be available on all phones with version 2.1. The version 1.5 phones can not run Google Maps, Voice 2 Text, double touch, batch deletes of email, ....
The newer versions of the basic apps- email, browser, contacts, phone, camera, .. all seem to be maturing from the earlier releases. Are these all Google apps and available to any phone manufacturer that can upgrade to 2.1?
