Hardware Versions: 0002 or 0003? Also, HTC called me back about the screen issue..

All of you who have got in contact with HTC (and a Tech named Milo) he will send us all emails as to what the culprit of the problems are, and tell us what to do from there.

He said Sprint will start getting the new batches and giving those out. But this won't help us who have had our phones over 30 days because we'll probably be getting refurbs. So the other option is they will have us send it in, they repair our phone and send it back.. OR just give us brand new phones with the fixes in place and take ours and probably send them to Sprint as refurbs with the fixes in place.

IDK but either way, we should hear back soon.

I have 0003. I have light leakage, screen issues, and I really hate the low bit rate audio when recording video.....if I don't see a fix for those major issues within my 30 days this suckers going back.

I have version 0002 and have minor light leakage under the home button. Glass is raised slightly in that corner, but not above the edge...yet

I stated in previous post I have 0003 with minor light leakage. I do have another issue from time to time. It's with the audio. Not sure if its the headphones jack directly or if its the stock music player. But sometimes the music sounds hollow like an echo. I only encountered this a few times. Anyone else? Wondering if o should return before 30 days are up for a new device or if this is an issue with the stock audio player.

0002 - no lifting on mine, though I've had the bodyguard case on since I purchased it. I have no light leakage to speak of, though I have some issues with bringing down the notification panel when the phone is on certain things.

I exchanged a 0003 and the repacement is a 0002. The 0003 had the bottom of the screen lifting up, wierd orange streaks under each capacitive button and unresponsive screen when not being held. My replacement, the 0002, had a very slight light leak under the menu button, I placed some tape on the screen to build up the glass so my innocase would hold it down and it has not seperated since. I thought there was a problem with my headphone jack but it was just me not pushing it all the way it, it was VERY tight and I was afraid to break it and the screen on the 0002 doesn't have the non responsive screen . So to say the least I am very happy with my replacement.

0002. I have very slight light leakage below the buttons. The one thing that kinda bugs me is the crackly/tinny sound from the ear speaker when it is turned up past ~50%.

from this survey, it seems like it maybe hardware version 0002 has the issues, but only a handful of ya have replied. Let's just hope it's a bad batch of 0002 and people with 0002's get replacements.

0002 - the only issue is the unresponsive screen when not being held.

I have an 0002 - I don't see light leakage but I have the bottom left corner lifting up and the upper half of the screen unresponsive in certain situations.

I have version 0002 and I have no problems whatsoever....no light leakage and my screen is perfectly responsive
