Has anybody got android auto to work with a LG x charge (LG-M327)?

[Android Central Question]

I can't get android auto to work with my phone/car. Phone is LG-M327, car is 2019 honda civic. I have tried a few cables with no luck. I tried a friend's phone and it worked, so it's not the car. I have tried enabling USB debugging. Any suggestions?

Replying to my own post, because I got it to WORK! I'm not sure exactly what it was that caused it to work, but this is what i did... Uninstalled android Auto, enabled usb debugging, set usb mode to "midi" in the developer menu, turned on "disable usb audio routing" in developer menu, powered off phone, powered on phone and plugged it into car. Phone prompted to install apps and everything WORKS
