Has anyone dropped their Note 3 yet?

I dropped mine this morning. Just slipped out of my hand. It hit on the upper left corner opposite the stylus on the bottom. I have tempered glass but did not have it cased at the time. The stylus flew out like an arrow and bounced off my 12ft ceiling and then a cabinet before landing on the floor. Phone so far is working fine. I think the seen flight may have acted as a shock absorber. I know there was a lot of force to have it fly and hit that hard. Yes stylus still works too.

Glad you faired well after that.. Funny thing though, this phone seems to just want to SLIP...:D..,

Stories like this make me cringe. You gals/guys that don't use cases are some kind of brave. I?d be worried my phone was not going to be in new condition very long without a case.

Mine is almost always in a case. I just took it out when it slipped.

Dropped mine last week in the kitchen...thankfully, it fell on the back and not from that high.

No problems and no damage (this is my case). *whew*

I do the same, except, that we are not handling a newborn baby 30 or 50 times a day. What happened to a careful user like myself, was the "law of averages". With those kind of numbers, and most of them can go to the 100+ times a day, drops will happen. Since this is a pro-case thread, I can say it out in the open, NAKED WILL NOT SURVIVE, and they can take that to the bank.. :D :D :D

Very good point.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

Naked will never remain in new condition for too long. To me keeping her in new condition is far more important than molesting her or oggling her curves.

My phone has been naked most of the time since I got it around 6 months ago. It's still in great condition, only a few minor scratches on the screen (only visible in the right light) and a little dent on the faux metal band (was there since I got it, starting to chip a little)

No, but I do have a case and screen protector just in case.

That's cool, but a lot of us, will not put up with minor scratches and Lord forbid, a dent!!! :D

I am one of those who get all worked up over a scratch. That's why I have to use a screen protector. If the device was $100 off contract I could maybe go screen protector free but not at $700.

$708+tax to be exact. That is what I chunked out to Tmobile, and believe you me, this phone gets "prize status" with me!! No hand me arounds, no let me see or can I borrow stuff!! :D The other day, getting off the subway, a lady was somewhat stranded. She asked me could she use my phone to call her sister. I quickly said what is the number, dialed the number, put the phone speaker. No touchee!! :D

I'm the same way! I won't even let my friends or family touch it because I'm afraid they'll drop it.

My phones and tablets are my preciouses. I love the purity of knowing they are blemish-free. I have multiple screen protectors and cases laying in wait because who knows? ...they may somehow have to replace the ones currently in use.

The dent was there since the day I bought it :\

Yet you accepted it? I won't accept a phone with a knick the size of a pin needle. I inspect the phone before they activate it

Didn't notice until a couple of weeks after, it's really small and my hand usually covers it when I'm holding it so it wasn't something that stood out. Anyway, when I noticed it I didn't think they'd exchange it just for that. Should've done it, it's starting to chip now and you can see the little white spot from pretty far away :(

LESSON - Look over a device you're about to buy as if you're buying a car. :)
