Has Anyone Else Had No Real Problems After The OTA Like Me?

Mine is fine

Got my TB on the first day from Verizon. I have had one reboot before the update and I have had one since the update. Also have had no other problems. I really think this phone is great.

Maybe everyone should check out their hardware version. Mine is 0002 even though I got it on launch day.

Got mine on day one - second person in line at my local store. 0002.

No reboots that I'm aware of. Pandora has always stopped from time to time, but no problems with other apps. GPS has never been stellar on this phone, that might just be a droid thing.

Haven't noticed anything much better or worse sense the update..... audio on the camcorder though IS BETTER.

You're in denial. You don't have a magic device. You've not noticed a reboot probably or you won't admit it. It's most likely. Something in the OTA updates is causing the issues. It's not apps. A factory reset with no apps installed does not help.

WOW, that is quite the assumption. I've been running the leaked RUU since the day it leaked out and I have not had a single random reboot. I love living in this world of denial with my magic device.

FYI when your phone reboots you know it has because the up time in the battery statistics resets. My phone last 2 days with normal usage on 3g only. No magic required.

I think its a problem with Verizons network in some areas.

I think you may be on to something. I'm in metro Atlanta, a strong 4G market. Not a single re-boot in my area. I traveled to NC to a 3G market this past weekend for a funeral, and I had 2 re-boots in Greensboro, NC over the weekend. My first experienced re-boots. '

Back in Atlanta and no re-boots.

Southeast MI here.

Bought it day 1. Phone has worked really well since. No problems other then the crap bloatware. Installed the OTA on 5/12 around 11:30 AM.

No random reboots..
GPS lock works fine
4G works great
3G works great (no constant switching between the 2)

No issues to complain of at all (except the above mentioned bloatware) Looking forward to Gingerbread though :)

Mine is working fine as well. I had or 4 reboots the first few weeks I owned the phone, then they stopped. now after the OTA everything is still working fine.

no problems here. i think this is one of those cases where only people who are having problems will post on forums about it. the ones who are not having issues are less likely to say anything because they are too busy enjoying their functioning devices :)

I had the occasional reboot even before the update, same after.

My big problem right now is my clock is wrong alot of the time. The big clock widget always has the correct time, however, the time in the upper right hand corner small clock is ahead by an hour most of the time. This screws up my alarms and is a major annoyance. I cannot figure out how to fix this. Am I the only one with a clock/alarm issue???

OTA update? What update? Tried all the tips to get it and still nothing. Bone stock & unrooted. Maybe its a blessing?
OTA update appeared Sunday morning 5/22. No guts, no glory so I went ahead and accepted the update. No issues at all so far. Battery life marginally improved. Uptime shows not reboots since OTA install.

I have had no problems other than those caused by operator error. Well that and the silly Weather Channel app keeps on force closing when I try to view the maps. I may have to make a post about that singular issue. I love the phone and just recently got to enjoy 4G and let me say this, I LOVED IT AND HOPE IT COMES HERE SOON!!!!!!!!!

No problems here. No random reboots that i'm aware of. Battery life the same, which is sucky. Never had a problem with gps locking on, it always just have me off a few blocks.

I was rooted and running the leaked radio before the OTA hit, and had a lot of issues that I eventually worked out. I would get a reboot every once in awhile, maybe 1 every 2-3 days.

Went back to unrooted stock, and holy cow, things are so much better. I miss some of the apps and the control I had from rooting, but the battery is lasting all day and no reboots, and instant GPS fix.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones that the OTA "stuck" to, so add me to the list of happy campers.

Other than GPS lock taking a while my phone was fine from the start. I did the OTA without pause a few weeks ago and after clearing the GPS cache I have near perfect quick GPS location services. Using the LTE on/off app I've been locked onto 3G since the app came out. I also always "maintained" the battery, force closing everything possible, checking regularly that nothing has started or stayed on that I didn't want to... that sort of thing. All was great.

then YESTERDAY (weeks after the OTA) bam, 3 reboots! Come on! This is crazy.

I can't ice.get an answer to if the ota improves devices HTC Thunderbolt if there nothing wrong with it from start. I have Thunderbolt that is rooted without OTA and my phone is great. I don't have any problems that are officially or unofficially listed for the device. I mean to me all looks good my HTC Thunderbolt but can anyone really say I see any significant improvement if I get OTA. I know for sure what people are saying there are having issues with OTA but no one really specific on what they actually see improve.

Clearing out the GPS cache? How do you achieve that?
